Sometimes in a milestone photo session, less can be more! I love to celebrate the simplicity of the baby! At six months, your baby has changed so much. They’re likely sitting up, smiling, rolling- their whole world is changing. Milestone photo sessions to me are all about celebrating all of those little achievements. Ledger came ready to rock his session in a custom onesie made by his mama, the talented Amanda Young-Reed who owns Bella Bows Boutique & Bling. He was sporting an adorable mohawk and a big toothless grin! We had so much fun at Ledger’s milestone session, sitting up, doing some tummy time, and drooling all over the place!

I love to do some simple and tasteful shots during milestone photo sessions as well. It’s so cute to see the little dimples in baby’s bums or all of their little rolls. Babies seem to really enjoy this “free” time too which leads to even more smiles!

We move pretty quickly during milestone photos to keep baby happy, but if time allows we try to do an outfit change. I just loved this sweet pj set Ledger’s mom brought. We paired it with the same teddy bear we used during his newborn session!
