Two years ago I got the itch to try out newborn photography.  Lucky for me, this little peanut was just born and her mama was gracious enough to let me come over and practice some things I had been trying to learn.  I remember it was warm enough that day that we sat out on their porch and used the natural light Mother Nature gave us and I practiced wrapping and posing baby Elsie and left thinking, “Wow I have a lot to learn but man do I LOVE this!” (here’s a little peek at my very first newborn session)

Michele and her husband had so much faith in me, and I was so thankful for that opportunity that was the springboard to a new career for me.  My mom (a seasoned Realtor) always said, “The best compliment you can give me is a referral,” and that is so true.  Not only did this family let me play with their newborn baby (!) they referred me to other people and let me showcase my work in Dustin’s exam rooms.  I am so honored that this family had faith in me and am beyond happy to photograph their kiddos and family as they grow!  Happy Birthday to Miss Elsie who started it all for me!  I hope each year is even better than the last for you!
