As a self employed small business owner, I don’t have any “coworkers” per se, unless you count the little “interns” I have at home with me!  I am a pretty social person by nature.  I have found not getting to interact with people daily as one of the harder parts of my job.  That’s why I have been so thankful for the local photographers I have become friends with.  We bounce ideas off each other and give constructive criticism. Sometimes we even have to vent about the struggle of juggling being stay at home moms and business women…and along the way we have become friends.  And, it is always an honor when one of those friends asks you to photograph her family for her.  

I admit, it’s a bit nerve wracking to shoot for another photographer, but I loved how these photos of April’s family came out.  We both have our own styles and bring something different to the table, so I am happy to share my work with her!
